Jewish Learning

3:45 - 5pm

Connect with Jewish friends and culture after the school day ends!

While every day at Club Isaiah brings new adventures and specifics vary by location, all days include the following elements:

MONDAY - THURSDAY

Blessings (Brachot):
Students learn the Hebrew blessings for all of the different food groups.

Hebrew Time (Ivrit):
You won’t see Club Isaiah teachers standing in front of a chalkboard! Our interactive and experiential lessons inspire students to learn Hebrew through art and games.

Community Time (Z’man Kehilah):
Each day we come together to sing Jewish songs, learn about the weekly Jewish theme, and learn the Hebrew Word of the Week.

Jewish Activity Time (Peulot):
Students learn about Jewish culture, holidays, values, history, and traditions through art, cooking, sports, gardening, drama, and other fun activities.

FRIDAY

Friday - It’s Shabbat! Shabbat Celebration (Shabbat Z'man Kehilah):

Everyone comes together to say the blessing over candles, grape juice, and challah. Yum!

Blessings (Brachot): Students learn the Hebrew blessings for all of the different food groups.

Shabbat Activity Time (Peulot): Our Friday activities focus on Jewish values and Shabbat learning. We may decorate cards for sick children, pack hygiene kits for the homeless, or tend to the garden.

Everything we do is connected to Jewish values and/or Shabbat. Sometimes we even make challah!

Space in Club Isaiah After School is limited and fills on a first-come, first-served basis. Don’t miss out! Please contact us with any questions.

*Schedule is subject to change. While we aim to follow the published schedule as closely as possible, adjustments may be made as needed.*
